Sunday, September 14, 2008 @ 8:08 am David Foster Wallace, arguably one of the greatest writers of the latter part of the 20th century and into the 21st, hanged himself over the weekend. The author of Infinite Jest (his most well-known work) taught creative writing at my alma mater, Pomona College. His death is a great loss to both the College and to the literary world at large.
