Since June 2006... - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Dead Emcee Scrolls by Saul Williams [61.3%] - - Junk Science: An Overdue Indictment of Government, Industry, and Faith Groups that Twist Science for Their Own Gain by Dan Agin, Ph.D. [64.4%] - - - - - - - - 1984 by George Orwell [18.8%] | I am NOT having children. [EDIT] Friday, April 18, 2008 @ 8:31 pm Today, I picked up one of my cats and pet him while he was lying down on my chest, as per usual. I went to smooth over Snugglebum's tail when all of a sudden he let out a pathetic meow...of pain. I checked it out and his tail was a little crooked. I'm not going to lie: I panicked, and then I started to tear up. Tomorrow, I'm calling the vet (a free phone consultation) about whether or not to bring Snugglebum in. If I freak out this much--i.e. if I have THIS much of an emotional investment in a fucking CAT--then there is NO way I will be able to function with a child. Plus, children are more expensive than cats and MUCH needier. I can't live like that. Lesson for me: just say no to kids. P.S. I checked around online (because that's what I do when I freak out) and now it doesn't seem like such a big deal. He probably got bitten by his brother or something. But still--I'm calling just in case. ![]() This picture was taken a few months ago. Snugglebum's the one on top; on the bottom is Bickle. 4 Comments. POOR KITTEH! Hopefully he is alright. I had a cat get bitten in the ass, her tail fell off... » ikimashokie on 2008-04-18 11:41:43 ACK! Now you've posted pictures of kittehs and I really want one. :( I can't wait to have a place of my own, I am totally getting one. » ikimashokie on 2008-04-18 11:51:38 can u pls pat ur cat for me?? it's just so adorable and i love cats... u know what? i think it's a good idea not to have kids because the world is now very doom and very gloomy. and if u could freak over a cat .. u would surely don't want to have a kid to have such future filled with darkness. so it's a good choice to say no to kids. because i'm not going to have kids either. in fact, i want to adopt or support orphans. » renaye on 2008-04-19 01:11:11 Well, you're probably doing the world a favor by not having kids. Overpopulation and such, y'know? Hopefully it never gets to the point where reality mirrors Soylent Green, though. :S » randomjunk on 2008-04-19 10:40:21
