Stupid fucking earthquake, part II.
Wednesday, October 31, 2007 @ 8:20 am
It's confirmed: this was the strongest earthquake in the area since Loma Prieta in 1989.

So I ended up cleaning my room last night. I didn't have time to write a short paper like I wanted, so I'm going to have to scramble to do that tonight. Whoever thought that a measly 5.6 could disrupt my schedule so?

I'm about to go into work in a little bit. I'm worried: if the glassware toppled over or the instruments broke or the chemicals spilled... well, of course that means that the experiments would have to be pushed back a little bit. But it also means that I have to clean it up.

And I HATE cleaning. But I love a clean lab.

Damn you, Inner Conflict!

An earthquake is like a massive shooting/rampage? Though I guess they won't cancel classes for a week

Man, I didn't even notice it 'cause I was in the shower. I was pretty bummed out about that..... Everyone ELSE was like "AAAH EARTHQUAKE!" but did I get to feel it? NOOOOO....

Stupid earthquakes.

I don't like cleaning
but I get into it. One minute you're half-heartedly wielding the rag, next you're scrubbing furiously to get that spot off the tiles. *cough* Yeah. *innocent grin*

I like cleaning if I were the one who made the mess. I hate to clean up someone else's mess though, even if it is because of a natural disaster.

the password is 'work'. And Man* should hopefully not be judged by the angry and near hysterical entries he* may write when he* is stressed out...

*Or she, if she were hypothetically Woman.

Haha! It's okay, you can leave rants as comments anytime. 30 degree celsius is hot. OMG! That's even higher than the average temperature here. I don't mind the temperature much actually, its the minor nosebleeds that are worrying me. I heard that you get nosebleeds when the air is too cold and dry.

Thanks for the tip, I'll go take some of my mother's tampons when I go back. Not allowed to use them for some stereotypical reason. Or gauze if my mother happen to just ran out of tampons. XD
