Monday, May 28, 2007 @ 11:04 am Nothing new to report, really. My grandmother's out of the hospital and is doing a lot better than she was last week. Seems her pain meds are keeping everything in check, but we're still unclear as to how to proceed chemo-wise, except that she can't undergo any treatment until she starts eating again. We found that if you feed her Filipino food, she'll eat it. She refused all the hospital food and everything else. Oh, well. Keep the arroz caldo coming... School's settled down a bit: just one midterm to go (microbiology) and I'll be back on track. And on a completely unrelated note: How excited am I that BBC America's going to be showing Torchwood soon? Mm, Captain Jack can torch my wood any time he wants. (Or something to that effect, except slightly less disturbing.) And that about sums it up. How's everyone else doing? 4 Comments. that's good that your grandmother is doing better. and good luck on your last midterm; I'm doing fairly well. I only have 5 weeks and 3 days till I'm done with my job. and a week later I'll be moving back to Vegas. I can't wait » LostSoul13 on 2007-05-28 03:07:52 Ah, Torchwood...question: are we able to watch BBC in US? I mean, besides news and Masterpiece Theater. 0.o Hip Hip Hooray! about your grandmother. ^-^ Glad she's doing good. Who likes hospital food anyway? » Silver-dot- on 2007-05-28 05:06:52 Oh, darnit! No cable. *sigh* » Silver-dot- on 2007-05-28 08:46:25 Good to hear that your grandmother's doing well. Good luck with your midterms. » Nuttz on 2007-05-29 01:25:53
