heh, thanx.
There were some days when I felt like that when I was still living at home. And other days I've wanted to verbalize that for reasons other than being ignored. People are so annoying sometimes

Horizontal vs Vertical
Sounds like my horizontal life is going better than your vertical one.

Eh.. you know your family knows that they dont have to worry about you. You are smart and have great internships and all. And look you also speak good FRENCH. So they just pay attention to the things that they NEED to worry about.

Maybe some people are just jealous of your success so they make like you dont exist.

The way I see it, you will become something and someone some day. I mean you may be a Dr. someone. I know it is hard but just take it in stride and bide your time. :) We love you here in Nutang land. hee ee

i hope ur parents didn't comment how much better your cousin is compared to you. that's the most hurtful sentence in one's life.

*hugs*
Parents sucks.. I know.. Why must we smile when we don't feel like smiling and why treat outsiders better than treating your own kids? It's not like we're adopted or something.

That's family for you. :/

At that point, I just get up, walk away, and let them figure out what they're doing.

*applause*
Thank you! My sentiments, exactly. *sigh* When will they get it? It's so frustrating that we can't say anything. *siiigh* If only it WAS kkama's explanation...>.> But like she said, we're here for you. We're not your family. ^-^
